Daily Added Prize Money Tournaments
Blue Square adds prize money to a tournament every day of the week. Here is the recently updated schedule, including a new $25 Freezeout event with $1,000 added for Sundays, replacing the $10 rebuy . All events are No Limit Holdem. Please note that the times listed below are BST, but starting times listed in the poker room are GMT.
Monday $5 Freezeout, 8.30pm $200 added
Tuesday $10 Freezeout, 8.30pm $300 added
Wednesday $15 Freezeout, 8.30pm $400 added
Thursday $10 Freezeout, 8.30pm $300 added
Friday $5 Freezeout, 8.30pm $200 added

Blue Square Online Poker League III
Starting on Monday July the 11th, the third Blue Square Poker League gets underway. The first prize this time is a seat at the £1,500 main event of the UK Poker Open at the Grosvenor Casino, Luton on Saturday August 13th & 14th. Here's how it works - players participating in the daily added prize money tournaments listed in the section above between Monday 11th July - Sunday 31st July will earn points towards the Blue Square Online Poker League III. Points will be awarded for each tournament as follows:
1 point for participating plus 12 points for a 1st place finish, 2nd = 8 points, 3rd = 7 points, 4th = 6 points, 5th = 5 points, 6th = 4 points, 7th = 3 points, 8th = 2 points, 9th = 1 point.
After the event on Sunday 31st July, the first, second and third placed players in the league will receive $1,000, $600 and $400 respectively and the top 18 players will take part in a League Final tournament (date and start time tbc). The winner of this tournament will receive a seat in the £1.500 Main Event at the UK Poker Open.

The Bubble Hasn't Burst!
Going out 'on the bubble' is a poker expression that refers to the player who misses out on the prize money by just one place in a tournament. If this happens to you in any real-money single* or multi-table tournament we will give you a second chance to win some prize money by entering you into a monthly $5,000 bubble freeroll. The next one will take place on Wednesday July 13th, start time 8pm GMT (9pm BST) for all players who 'bubble' in June.
Entry to this tournament is open until Sunday 10th July so, if you miss out on the prize money by just one place before then, simply email support@bluesqpoker.com with 'bubble' in the subject line and include your screename and details of the tournament in which you just missed out on the prize money. Once we have confirmed your result we will enter you into the $5,000 freeroll.

* Register a screen name and then open a real money account (this can be done in the Cashier page of the poker room)

Once you have done this, all you have to do is earn enough action points to release the bonus. For every dollar of the bonus you must earn 125 Action Points. Action Points are earned every time you play in a real money cash game or tournament. The more you play the more action points you earn. So, if you play a lot you may want to go for the $50 bonus, but if you play less regularly, a $25 bonus may suit you better. The choice is yours, but you can only enter one of these promotions.
The bonus will only be released when enough Action Points have been earned to meet the full value of the bonus, so, for example, to release the $25 bonus, 25 x 125 = 3,125 Action Points must be earned. For the $50 bonus, 6,250 Action Points must be earned before the bonus is awarded.
These bonus offers are available to join until the 31st July 2005 and playing conditions must be met by August 14th, 2005. Bonuses not fulfilled by this date will be voided.
The Knowledge
Starting on Wednesday 5th January at 15:00 GMT - “The Knowledge” is our new concept quiz event.
1. There are 10 sets of questions in “The Knowledge”. The first question of each set is known as the starter question.
2. Giving the right answer to a starter question earns you $5 and the chance to solely answer 2 more bonus questions on a related subject each worth $10 for the correct answer.
3. An incorrect answer to the first bonus question means that you do not get asked the second bonus question.
4. A maximum of $25 can be won for answering all three questions in a set.
5. Only the person answering the starter question correctly will be eligible to answer the bonus questions - this must be done within a strict time limit as decided by the host.
6. Failing to answer within the specified time limit - or getting the bonus question wrong - then the question will be thrown open to the lobby. The first player to correctly answer wins $10.
7. A player answering the starter question and at least one of the bonus questions correctly will not be eligible for any other set of questions. However, the will be able to answer questions that other players get wrong!
8. Players who only answer the starter question correctly - but fail to answer a bonus question are eligible to answer other starter questions.
